Winery Tour and Wine Tasting
It is always a pleasure for us to welcome our guests to a tour of our historical winery located in a 17th century building in the medieval center of Soave.
The informative tour includes a visit to our cellar with the explanation of our beginnings in the 1800s, our passion for wine, our dedication to preserving the environment through organic farming, and the full description of the production process: crushing, fermentation, drying, aging wine, bottling and aging.
After the tour, you are invited to taste our products in the charming tasting room of our wine shop.
EXTRA TASTING
Tasting and description of at least 4 of our most representative wines – All paired with bread or bread sticks, two types of the excellent cheeses and a “salame” (a cold cut of meat) typical of our area.
- The tour and tastings can be in English at no additional costs.
- Payment in advance or before the tasting.
- The expected duration of tour and tasting for large groups is 1 and 1/2 hours.
- For organization purposes, we kindly ask you to book the tasting a few days in advance.
Wine Shop
Coffele wines are created and stored behind the ancient portal of the 1600s that hosts the cellar, in the historic centre of Soave within walking distance of the Scaligero Castle: a place that recalls ancient traditions, the perfect place to enjoy the timeless bouquets of the wine.
The ancient chapel of the family Palace, in the Gothic style, is also the Coffele showroom, open seven days a week, where you can buy all the wines of the current vintage.
Entering the shop, you might be lucky enough to meet Giuseppe Coffele, the Professor, and have the opportunity to listen to his anecdotes about the beauties of Soave and the history of his wine, with a keen eye cast over the whole Italian world of wine.
Event location
Surrounded by vineyards and located just a few miles from Soave, near Verona, Tenuta Coffele is the perfect location for hosting a memorable event. Here you can give your guests the opportunity to experience the feel of nature thanks to our property’s distinct rural setting.
